Swing!

I have started some swing and jive lessons at the local arts centre - as part of my New Year's Resolution list - and went to my first proper evening dance! If you do the dance lessons, you get to go to the swing nights for free, and so, at the last minute, I summoned up the resolve to get over there. 

I had an absolutely fantastic night, as you might be able to tell from the pure cheese of my poses. I was absolutely buzzing and can't wait to get back dancing again!

I'm also trying to get myself back into gin again. I had a gin and lemonade, so hopefully I can get slowly accustomed to the flavour and guzzle it down like a true '40s enthusiast!
